Glyphosphate Spraying of Streets

Glyphosphate is a suspected carcinogen and the council intends to phase it out, but in the interim their Street Champions Weeding Scheme gives residents the opportunity to opt their street out of glyphosate spraying now (following a successful trial of the scheme this Spring).

There is information about the scheme and how to sign up at www.lambeth.gov.uk/weeding. The deadline for applications is midnight Sunday 9 August
