Hi,
I work on trails, a lot.
I talk about trails, ride trails, work on planning trails, building trails, maintaining trails, etc. Simply put, it's part of who I am, it's something I love. It isn't just me doing this, 100% of our local singeltrack trails to date are built and maintained by volunteers, and the best way to support them is to support LAMBA.
Often, when out on trails, users will st/roll by and express guilt in not being able to help, actually physically help. Then I usually say something along the lines of, "You are helping! Riding the trails is helpful, talking about the trails is helpful, lending a hand is nice too but it doesn't always work out; no problem, have a good ride!".
This happened again recently and it occurred to me that
the number one thing any of us can do to support trails isn't necessarily grabbing a shovel, or even the things I mention above, it's joining the club! So please, if you haven't already, JOIN LAMBA. The best way to support singletrack trails in our community is to
become a member.
If you wish to dig, help organize, or volunteer in any capacity, all you have to do is pay attention and keep in touch... An easy way to do this is to plug in to our web page or Facebook via the links below; but first become a member by

See you on the trails!
