Errors related to opencl.dll can arise for a few different different reasons. For instance, a faulty application, opencl.dll has been deleted or misplaced, corrupted by malicious software present on your PC or a damaged Windows registry.

In the vast majority of cases, the solution is to properly reinstall opencl.dll on your PC, to the Windows system folder. Alternatively, some programs, notably PC games, require that the DLL file is placed in the game/application installation folder.

I have an ATI graphic card and so I downloaded AMD APP SDK, the latest version 3.1, and wanted to start developing on some example but got stuck because there was no "cl.h" nor CL folder for that matter in that SDK. I found that very strange, since in all the examples Ive seen the include was: #include . Then I downloaded an older version, I think its 2.7., and there was CL folder with cl.h file as well. I then also made sure all the library dependencies and include directories are set in the project properties and when i tried to run an existing OpenCL project there were no errors reported. However, when the program started it crashed because it was saying that "OpenCL.dll is missing". I looked in the SDK folder for the file and it wasnt there. I then downloaded opencl.dll from internet and copied it into debug folder and tried to start the program again but it crashed again with a message "Opencl.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error.".

A ZIP file containing everything SFCFix needs in order to repair/replace your corrupt opencl.dll file. You will be asked by the website to register on it to gain access to the ZIP file, you should do so as it is completely free.

I just went to another Windows 10 Pro x64 machine and copied the opencl.dll file (from the same directory). Then I took ownership of the bad opencl.dll, renamed it to opencl.old, and copied in the new one. Reboot back into safe mode and run sfc /scannow and it comes back good. In my case, this was the ONLY bad file listed in cbs.log ... I can see where it might be better to have sfc work if you have many corrupt files and don't want to patch each individually. But if your problem is just the one dll, then a simple copy seems to work.

First, let me thank you for the excellent java software, certainly the best on the internet, for getting opencl up and running
but , I cant seem to link it to intel opencl.dll 2.0 driver I have on windows

It mostly seems to work just fine. But when I try to export from RAW to jpg it errors. This maybe because it appears to try to load an OpenCL dll/so, which isn't built into OpenSUSE's build of wine. Does anyone using Linux have a 64 bit Wine installed that includes OpenCL (/usr/lib64/wine/opencl.dll.so) and would like to test OW exports?
