When I export a document as a PDF, the PNG with transparent background has a slight different color than the rest of the total background when printing. When I look at the PDF on my desktop it all looks fine (see attached image 1) but as soon as I print it, you can see that the transparent part of the PNG has an other color than the layer below (see attached image 2).
I've tried to replicate your issue and I can't, I exported using PDF/X-4. To print, I've tried Adobe Acrobat Pro DC, PDF Expert and also tried printing from Preview but they all printed without issue.
The issue is probably caused by the PNG with transparency staying transparent and in RGB color mode when exported to PDF/X-4 while everything else in the job is in CMYK color mode. In situations where you can see a color difference, the PNG image is rasterized and its transparency resolved so that it will get the blue background translated with a value the differs from the background that already was in CMYK color mode.

We am working on a layout drawing in which we want to highlight the items as per our scope of work. We change the color of irrelevant details in to grey and we are plotting the drawings with "transparency" since some elements are hatched and should come in transparent color.
The same problem is that Adobe's redefined settings are not well for looking to CAD-drawings with thin lines, but try to tell that Adobe. At least it's a question of the viewer settings, in AutoCAD the only chance could be to raise the resolution and to enlarge your lineweights. But all these are (bad) workarounds.
I have saved the PDF file with the settings and tried viewing it with another computer with Acrobat Setting at default and the lines again disappear. Could your suggest another solution or should we just modify the line weight in CAD model itself?
I am a local admin on my laptop but when I am trying to open pdf file from Outlook and I have Pdf xchange editor as my default pdf app I am getting "Your administrator caused Windows Security to block this action. Contact your help desk." error. It works when you save it first locally. It also works opening pdf straight from Outlook when I use Adobe Acrobat as my default pdf app.

When using the pdf button to save say an invoice, pdf xchange editor shows an error: errors detected in the XREF table. When I re-save the pdf and re-open the message is gone. Would it be possible to fix this as while the error message is only visible in Pdf Xchange Editor, the developers state that Manager is not creating pdf compliant documents so other programs like acrobat are just automatically fixing the error.

Investigating a little further, I created two test pdf files from tiny, one-line documents, one with MSFT Word (version 16.56 (21121100)) and the other with Google Docs. I also updated LibreOffice from version 6.4.6.2 to version 7.2.7.2.
Both files open without error notification with Okular PDF reader on my Fedora 35/KDE workstation. Both give the error with Draw. Gimp opens both files.
I tried to have a look with an hexadecimal editor. It reports PDF 1.6, but many parts of the file are compressed (?) giving a binary flow which needs to be expanded before being used (normally PDF is encoded as a kind of postfix Polish language, a bit like PostScript from which it derives). This may be where the issue lies.
