Updated Terms and Privacy Policy

Hi juan,

At Endomondo, we’re committed to giving you the best fitness experiences, which is why we joined forces with Under Armour in January 2015. As part of that move, we’ve updated our Terms and Privacy Policy to provide you greater transparency about our products and services and how we use and protect your data.

Please read the updated Terms and Privacy Policy carefully. For your convenience, we have included a summary of the key updates below.
  • Privacy – Our commitment to privacy has not changed. The updated Privacy Policy clearly outlines how we collect, use, share, and protect your personal data. It also was important to us that we make our default sharing settings as clear as possible and ensure that you clearly understand how you can limit what personal data you share in our communities and with whom you share that data.

  • Unification – All Under Armour apps (MyFitnessPal, MapMyFitness, UA Record and Endomondo) will be covered by one set of Terms and a Privacy Policy. Going forward, you will be able to easily access our different fitness and wellness communities and link and share information across the apps.

Under Armour maintains its servers in the U.S., so all personal data that Endomondo has about you will be migrated to and stored on those servers as we further our integration into the Under Amour family of Connected Fitness products and services. We will, of course, continue to use your personal data only for the purposes specified in our Privacy Policy and consistent with your rights and protections under applicable data protection laws.

  • Transparency – We’ve tried to use plain language in the Terms and Privacy Policy so that you can easily understand your rights under these agreements and our obligations to you.
The new Terms and Privacy Policy are effective for all new users of Under Armour Services as of March 8, 2016, and for current users, they will come into effect by April 7, 2016.

Over the next few weeks, as you use the most updated version of our apps to work toward your personal fitness goals, you will receive in app/website prompts and notifications that request that you review and accept our new Terms and Privacy Policy, and also provide your consent for the transfer of your data to the U.S. To continue to use our apps, you’ll need to accept our new Terms and Privacy Policy and provide your consent for the transfer of your data.

If you have any questions about our new Terms or Privacy Policy or concerns about our data practices, please reach out to our Support Team. Alternatively, if you do not agree to the new Terms and Privacy Policy and would like us to delete your Endomondo account, please send an email to delete...@endomondo.com from the email address associated with your account.

Thank you for being a part of our community.
