Tracking Quality Non-Conformance / NCR

Hello all, We need to create an NCR tracking system to use with M2M vs 6.01 sp 5.  I'm aware of Unipoint offering but it is just too robust and expensive for our requirements.  What tools do you use to track non-conformance and generate KPI / metrics?

The two primary tools in the ERP are the PINS (production inspection) and RINS (receiving inspection) data forms.  Both data forms use allow you to capture causality (user defined on ICODS ).  

PINS data is dependent on recording "scrap" via daily labor.

RINS data is dependent on marking purchased parts for incoming inspection.  

You can use the Vendor Service request data form with a HEAVILY modified output to record vendor non conformance.  IF you add your company as a vendor THEN you can also use this same form for internal non conformance.

Always best to develop the KPIs and work backwards to determining the data inputs.
