M2M 6.01 sp 5 on Win 10 Pro

Hello,

 

Anyone running 6.01 on Win 10 Pro?  It was running fine for about a week, but as of Friday it takes about 3-5 minutes to completely load on workstation.  It responds as if it is running across a VPN.

 

Current config / troubleshooting:

-       M2MWin.ini has UNC - not mapping

-       User has admin rights - both domain and local accounts

-       UAC at never notify

-       Workstation firewall disabled

-       Registry to EnableLinkedConnections = 1

-       Restored to Thursday

-       Complete uninstall / reinstall

 

Next step would load in VM, but prefer not.  Suggestions?

When we ran 6.01 I made these changes to each machine.  May be overkill, but I did not have problems.  Can’t say I ran on Windows 10 though.

 

Change ownership permissions in program files, windows and temp.

Turn off user account control

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System]

"EnableLUA"=dword:00000000

"EnableLinkedConnections"=dword:00000001

I have a client with a few users on Windows 10/M2M 6.01 with no issues. 

Any recent Windows updates installed? Windows 10 Fall Creators update is a recent update that has caused a few problems for some clients. 

Any possible network issues? Bad NIC or switch port?

Thank you for your input. 

Employee went on travel and installed a couple personal programs between time it was functioning and when started failing.  I rolled back to a previous date when M2M was functioning properly, which also cleared the Win updates installed.

 

NIC, switch, etc. are solid and all other network connections fully functional.
