Musical Program for Kedarnath- Uttarakhanda Tsunami

Dear all Trustees of Temples & Community Leaders

Please find herewith a flyer of Kedarnath - Uttarakahand Tsunami, extremely  tragic incident happened.  Our Mandirs/ Temples  of LA, have always come forward in such a tragic happenings and helped the victims irrespective of country where it happened in past years.

Media news from India reports that multi Thousand pilgrims and local peoples have lost their lives, many are still missing, air force, military, HSS, RSS, Ekal Vidyalaya students, BAPS, Gayatri parivar and many organizations are actually working on the affected areas, as  a result thousands of peoples are saved, sent back to their states.

Now this cloud burst tragedy happened in our country, let us show our spirit of kindness to help victims.  You are requested to do needful this time during Sunday gathering in your Mandir/ Temple and also attend program on July 6th at Sanatan Dharma Temple.
I personally appreciate dedication of all Trustees to community services they are doing and are always ready to perform it every time.

Please be clear that as the Indian American Community of So. CA we are working individually, in group as temple or organization but as a Team in California. This is right time to show our Team work.  

It is a great news that many temples and individuals have started raising fund, donating to organizations, here or in India, that is good. We as NRI Team sincerely thank them for their noble work. 

Hence let us be clear--if you have some organization working in India you can send your  donation there and let us simply know about it for information and record but if you don't have a specific choice but to help please write a check to "Vyasa- LA". We assure you that every dollar of your donation will be used only for victims help and we shall let you know where & how it is used and worked as we are in touch with organizations actually working in affected area.

As a generous community of S. CA we want to keep a record, announce during program how much sympathetically NRI could work for this cloud burst tragedy  and let our community know about it, if you like and agree then only. 

We request you to attend the Musical come fund raising program tomorrow, July 6th, and requested to provide me by email following information to let community know about for inspiration & future work.

3. Fund raised, planned to raise fund

4. Name of organization in India you want to donate. ( so that your donation will be sent to that organization)

5. Future plan if any for this tragedy.

6. Suggestion for us if any.

For information & understanding that your dollar will reach to right organization & will be used for victims. For Gujarat earthquake, I left to jobs to work for earthquake in Kachha, went India, next day went in Kachha, adopted  fully ruined village "Pashooda" near Anjar, got free land from villagers, made a team, raised fund from friends there and Chinamayanada Charrity (Mandir) , stayed there to construct/erect temporary houses for all villagers, came back then sent some $ from Gujarati Cultural Society from fund they raise for that purpose. this is only to let you know that yr $ will be used for right cause.
