Iuse a Wahoo Roam on my road and mountain bikes. I just got a gravel bike, looking to use it on there too. However, if I put a cadence sensor on the gravel bike, and there is already one on the road bike, will the Roam head unit pick it up/use it as well? Thoughts?

We had not one but two hand/thumb injuries on this trip. I went first with a run-in on Sycamore, a two-way trail that sent me and another rider off our bikes into the weeds after a handlebar collision. The next day, Nessi got her groove on with some sick dance moves, so much so that she injured her thumb in a freak twerking incident. The story and dramatic re-enactment were replayed at length over happy hours and group chats. Our thumbs hurt, but honestly, I forgot the pain of laughing over the storytelling led by Denile.

The BCB booth was the center of activity and meeting place in between workshops and clinics. Both Kates led a session on track stands and bike handling, plus I was stoked to join the pump track and jump session clinic. There were plenty of unique workshops to attend, one led by Dr. Meredith, who penned a book called Toolbox, A pocket manual for Cyclists with Vaginas. Everyone took turns in the BCB booth, repping Transition Bikes, new gear, and helmets and helping shoppers try on the super popular one-piece overalls.

Shopping and pedaling transitioned to dinner, then converting booths to a Saturday beach-party theme. Nessi spearheaded mixing and shaking up a rum-pineapple concoction, Danielle threw on a coconut-shell bikini over her pink onesie, and everyone swapped Five Tens for sandals. The mood was festive out of the gate, spurred on by a sugary cocktail base or shots from the Gnar Bar. The fest organizers handed out the silent disco headphones, and the party began under our super cool underpass dance floor. Our legs were already torched from standing or riding, then add some dance moves to push the sore meter to high. I got lost in the music with hundreds of other Roamies and realized my face hurt too from laughing and smiling.

I have two emu bikes..the first one I bought 5 years ago...I have just bought my partner a new one with the larger battery. We use them to tow our cockapoo in his dog trailer...they both do the job perfectly...excellent bikes...excellent service...highly recommended.

The front and rear brakes on the stock Roam are both 160mm which is too small in my opinion. Get some 180mm rotors and spacers on ebay and throw them on, it will cost less than $30 and it will dramatically decrease your stopping distance. The Roam would also really benefit from a Thudbuster LT seatpost which will absorb some of the bigger bumps in the road.

I guess if they keep confiscating all the ebikes then maybe there never will be an ebike death in NYC. 90% of all bicycle accidents could be prevented if only people would buy a car like everyone else.

This bike is an absolute joy to ride, however, there are some concerning issues. The chain comes off relatively easily, sometimes when I turn it on there will be an error showing on the screen (which means they bike doesn't power properly) which isn't always the same error and it doesn't match errors any in the information pack. If I turn it off and on again a few times that usually sorts it out. It didn't come with the light that's shown in the picture here.

I tested quite a few electric bikes last year before I bought my Emu, which I found to be by far the most comfortable and good quality in my price range. The two week trial period was very helpful, as it gave me time to see if my fussy body liked the bike - I'm very tall and have a disability which affects my joints. I love the size of the battery and the fact that it fits into the frame rather than sitting on top of it, and it lasts a surprising number of miles considering its size. The motor is excellent and helps me pedal with no effort whatsoever on the flat, and is also effective at getting up hills. The Emu is a very adaptable bike, I have pimped up the handlebars to adapt to my hand pain, and fitted a mirror as I'm blind in one eye. Emu's customer service and advice is great, and the tyres are excellent quality - I've ridden once a week since June and haven't had a puncture yet.

We were going to get the one without the stroller attachment but are so glad we scaled up. We use the stroller more than the bike attachment. Seems good quality. A bit tough to disassemble and reassemble but not a big deal

This bike trailer is very good, I'm on my second year with it and no problems. I pull my two kids all the time with it and do regular 30 kms rides. I also like the fact that you can take it apart and make it very compact for both storage and transport. I got trapped in the rain a few time and the rain cover worked great. There is sufficient space in the back to store my diaper backpack and a lunch etc... The only recommendation is for the bike you pull with, you should get fender if you're riding on crushed stone paths to avoid sending dust and small rocks into the trailer.

The first step in opening the frame was extremely difficult - what seemed to be a simple step turned into two adults exerting our maximum strength just to get the frame to stay in place. The instruction manual was not helpful since the images were black and white and blurry. The trailer is supposed to be collapsible, but given how difficult it was to set it up in the first place, this thing can stay uncollapsed, if I have anything to say about it - and I do, this is why Im writing this review. Other than the pain of set-up, the kids (4, 3, and 1 year olds) can all comfortably and safely sit buckled in - two at a time, of course. Attaches and detaches easily from our bikes. Mesh and rain cover are great.

The large bright color screen is easier to see without reading glasses and the tactile click buttons are a great choice for use in the field. The Roam stood up to rain, sleet, snow, and mud. The battery life has been admirable and the cold weather performance has also been pretty good (temps as low as 15 F).

There are a variety of ways to mount the Roam. Our unit came with a couple of mounts and I purchased a couple of aftermarket mounts for both the bars and the stem cap. When I rode my klunker, I just stuck the roam in a pocket and that also worked pretty damn well!
