Neighborhood Walks

Hello LVPC parents, 

I hope you've been enjoying your weekend. You may be aware of the Discovery Process that our church is currently involved in. Many of you participated in the History event back in June (listening to our past) and/or a small group in August (listening to each other). The third step in our Discovery Process has begun, in the form of taking Neighborhood Walks (listening to our neighbors). 

The Navigation Team will be leading a few walks this coming Sunday Oct 20, while the kids are in Sunday School. If you're free, I'd love for you to join me. We will take a brief (approx 30 min) walk around the neighborhood, simply observing what there is to observe, and then have a short debrief back in the church. There is no agenda, other than to let God open our eyes and ears to what's around us. So far the walks have been surprisingly inspirational and eye-opening. It would be great to have some of you on the next set of walks next Sunday! If you'd like to come along, just meet me in the back of the church after worship.
