Lakeside Freethinkers meeting of September 18, 2025 4PM Lakeside time

Greetings Lakeside Freethinkers!

On September 18, at 4 pm, lakeside time, via Zoom, member Rich Birkett will briefly review the history of Epistemology, discuss the theories of epistemology covered in his video "A Better Theory of Epistemology, Knowledge, Belief and Truth", and present additional ideas. Epistemology, the study of knowledge, is a central branch of philosophy that explores the nature, sources, limits, and forms of knowledge.

As a second part of the meeting, member Lloyd Kumley will lead discussion on how Freethinkers can and do celebrate some of the special days of September, including the Fall Equinox, International Peace Day, and others.

Hello Lloyd,

I have a hard schedule conflict and have to take a pass on this particular session.

FYI, I am acting in a Bravo Theatre Play on September 19, 20 & 21 (3 public shows) in Riberas. We have a lot of rehearsals, and Sept 18 at 4:00 pm is one of the most important.

I hope that I can watch a recorded session on Zoom later on. I also plan to watch the YouTube video on Epistemology by Rich, and catch up.

Oh man, I am in the 10 minutes plays on that day. I really don't want to miss this one. I've watched all of Rich's videos so I'd be ready. I guess there's no way to put the meeting off by a week???
