Today is my birthday, and I am reminded of what a friend of mine said to me when he turned seventy: “If I had known I would live so long, I would have taken better care of my body.”

You know, that is so true. Most (all?) old age ailments are the result of our past lifestyle. From smoking (emphysema, cancer, cardiovascular diseases, type 2 diabetes, infections, osteoporosis, infertility, and even blindness) to being overweight (type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, cardiovascular diseases, osteoarthritis, and various cancers). 

I have many of these.

Even sitting in church for a long time can increase the CO2 level in your blood, known as hypercapnia, leading to symptoms like headaches, dizziness, fatigue, and confusion. 

I don't have this one!
