Lakeside Freethinkers Winter Solstice gathering Dec. 18, 4 PM at Yves

Greetings Freethinkers,

I hope everyone is in a festive mood!

Let's continue to celebrate the goodness in our lives at the next Freethinkers’ 

get together at Yves Restaurant on Thursday, December 18th.  You are invited

 to join with others to talk about the history and meaning of the Winter Solstice 

and other matters as they come up.

We’ll also have a special participatory fun activity for all.

(HINT: Start thinking about what your message or wish for the world in the New 

Year will be and on what is the bright side of your life?)

We have 10 reservations so far, and if you haven’t already, please RSVP to

 reserve your seat at the table. If you want  a ride, please reply to this email 

and I’ll arrange one.

fyi...near Guadalajara, you're in luck for the Geminid Meteor Shower, which is peaking right now (Dec 13-14), offering up to 100+ meteors per hour under dark skies, visible all night but best after midnight as the radiant rises highest, with Jupiter nearby and a waning moon not interfering much.
