First, I want to wish a Happy Mother's Day to all the incredible moms on this distribution list!
I’m excited to announce our annual Lake Monsters End of the Year Team Banquet. Mark your calendars for Friday, May 31st from 6-8 PM at the LOHS Cafeteria.
We’re planning a fantastic gathering to celebrate a remarkable year of competition achievements with our mentors, students, and parent volunteers.
This event is a collaborative effort, and its success relies on your involvement.
Volunteer Opportunities: We need your help to make this celebration memorable! Please sign up for volunteer roles here: Volunteer Sign-Up.
RSVP Required: While parents are not required to attend, we encourage you to join us. Please RSVP for each member of your family, including students, using this link by May 25th, 2024: RSVP Here. Since we are sending the invite to parents only for RSVP accuracy, it is important to send the RSVP for your child even if you cannot attend.
Expect two more reminders from me—one for final RSVPs and another the day before the event, on May 30th.

Hello Parents,
Thank you to everyone who has already submitted your RSVP for the Lake Monsters End of Year Banquet. As of today, I have received 20 responses with a total of 45 attendees. The form will close at the end of the day tomorrow.
Please remember that even if your family is not attending, you still need to submit the form to RSVP for your child, as it is only sent to parent email addresses.
I also appreciate all the parents who have signed up to volunteer. We still have openings for set-up and clean-up after the event. If you have the time, please consider signing up for the remaining slots here: Volunteer Sign-Up.
I will start reaching out to everyone who signed up to volunteer slots for details and/or confirmation after the RSVP closes tomorrow.

Take 2 with the tone of excitement.
We're on the final countdown! Here's your last update before our event tomorrow. Please swing by at 5:45 PM sharp—let’s kick things off right at 6 PM and zoom through our jam packed agenda that Mr. Sperry and Renee prepared!
We've got a record-breaking (80+) crowd gearing up to join, and we can't wait to see your smiling faces! A gigantic THANK YOU to everyone who's pitching in—whether it's time, desserts, drinks, decor, or setup, you're all stars!
And guess what? In addition to the sweet treats and cool sips you’re bringing, we’ve got a feast coming from Chipotle (ordered for 65). Here’s the dinner game plan: our fabulous team and mentors will lead the charge, followed by the kids/siblings, and parents.
The grand finale? Our outgoing team members will do the honors of cutting the cake—let's give them a send-off to remember with some cute clicks!
Post-party, let’s all chip in for a quick cleanup. Many hands make light work, right?
