Hello Friends - This message first came through LCNA,  and I added a bit - when you think of your year end giving, think of local groups!   Feel free to add more and pass this on 😊

Thank you Sandra 😊

Hello, all!  Please see the email from our neighbor Catherine Kodish below for ways to help others this holiday season!

I apologize for the delay in sharing this email. It came to me on Giving Tuesday, when I received thousands of emails (literally).

Many thanks to Catherine for sharing these opportunities to help others have a great holiday season!

Sandra

Hi Sandra,

Please share the following giving opportunities with your neighborhood email list, if appropriate. Thanks and Happy Holidays!

Catherine Kodish

1. Cedar Park Elementary PTA is currently doing a gift and grocery card drive for families at our school who are in need. Please consider donating a gift, book, sweet treat, or $25 grocery gift card. Donations due 12/18, but please deliver as soon as possible!

2. In addition, the PTA at another public school in our neighborhood, John Rogers Elementary, is seeking donations for their giving closet. They have many families in need of basic supplies, clothing, etc. Donations can be made at anytime: https://www.johnrogerspta.org/care-closet

3. Finally, I thought this was a good place to amplify the message of the Lake City Holiday Project. There are MANY local Lake City businesses hosting this gift drive. You can donate cash via PayPal, gift cards or gifts. Donations due 12/8. For more information go to:

Thanks for considering giving back to our immediate community and families in need!
