We're eagerly watching the ice and (not so patiently) waiting on the start of boating season here at Camp Chingachgook! While we wait, we're planning for another amazing summer of adaptive & accessible sailing through our Y-Knot Sailing Program.

Every Sunday this summer, our adaptive fleet will be enjoying time on Lake George - a program that is free of charge to our sailors thanks to many generous donors! If you're interested in donating, we appreciate your support to help us finish our goal of raising $4,000 by March 31st!

We're also looking for more volunteers at both our Sailing Sundays and at regional regattas. If you want to see what adaptive sailing is all about, please consider joining our volunteer training day on June 7 (registration link below) or by offering to help out at one of the regattas listed below!

Looking forward to seeing you all on the water soon!

Best wishes,

Jiné Andreozzi

Updates from Y-Knot Sailing

Y-Knot Sailing at YMCA Camp Chingachgook is dedicated to making sailing accessible to everyone—creating opportunities for individuals with disabilities to experience independence, confidence, and joy on the water. Because of generous supporters, our Sailing Sundays remain completely free, and sailors of all abilities can participate using adaptive boats and specialized equipment.

We’re close to our fundraising goal and need your help to get there. We’re just $4,000 away and aiming to close the gap by March 31. Any amount you can give will directly support adaptive equipment, free instruction, and expanded access to life-changing experiences on Lake George.

If you’re able, please consider making a donation today to help us reach the finish line.

Thank you for helping us keep sailing accessible to all!
