Race 16

Race 16 of Wednesday Night Sailing brought out 12 boats to race.  The weather was not promising with rain in the forecast with light winds.  As it turned out that rain stayed to the south of us and the wind came up to about 8 at the start but dropped later on.  The RC set a W4 course using North Canoe as the windward mark.  Congratulations to Stinger and crew for line honors and 1st overall.  Uncle Ludwig did themselves well in the overall standings with a 2nd followed by Wild Thing for 3rd.  The attached results and Standings show 1st and 2nd are set for the 2025 season with 3rd and 4th place boats fighting it out this next week for 3rd and 5th and 6th place are also at it for the 5th spot.  This next wednesday race is the last of the 2025 season.  It has been a great season with as many as 17 boats on the start line.  WOW!

The end of the season awards party with be held at John Carr's place, ADK Pub and Brewery as soon as the last race is finished.  We will be meeting as in the past on the 2nd floor.
