Wed Night Race Marks

Last week I found out that LGPC or whatever government agency had set a new danger marker buoy near the NW corner of Canoe Islands (U3A).  This marker is NOT a mark of the course and may be disregarded as if it were never there.  So to say it for the hundredth time:  if South Canoe (U4) is called it means that all boats will take the Canoe Islands to Port and round South Canoe (U4) to port and continue to the next mark of the course.  If North Canoe (U3) is called then all you need to do if take U3 to port and proceed to the next mark of the course.  U3A is to be ignored.  If Diamond Island mark is called, it is just marker (W) that needs to be rounded to port.  Diamond Island itself is NOT a mark of the course.  Mark (W) is located a few hundred yards SE of Diamond Island.  If Hog Back (U6) is called it will be taken to port and on to the next mark of the course.   Please print this off and have with you.
