When I test the canopy ejection handle and it's spring ejection mechanism....
It is a clamp (black and yellow 'Quick Grip') that I use to compress the spring to make it easy to re-install the pin before re-installing the canopy. I found pulling on the handle and inserting the pin by myself to be awkward. Plus, the first time that I did it, I inadvertently let go and the plastic handle broke when the spring slammed it against the steel tube.
