LA Jews for Peace published its statement today opposing reopening the 2011 case against Rutgers University claiming that Jewish students encountered anti-Semitism there and has used the controversial International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) definitions of anti-semitism in his re-examination

LA Jews for Peace asks Assistant Secretary of Education Marcus Not to Harm Free Speech on Campuses

LA Jews for Peace consider that using the IHRA definitions to limit or to end criticisms of the state of Israel harms free speech and open debate on campuses, the cornerstones of any democracy.

The statement is attached as an MS Word file and as a PDF file.  It is posted on the LA Jews for Peace website at
    http://lajewsforpeace.org/Essays/2018-Rutgers.pdf
and on both LA Jews for Peace FaceBook pages.

It will be distributed to local Congressmen/women.
