Has anyone actually found employment this way so far or is it still
just a social activity at this point? I'm an unemployed computer tech
in the Phoenix area and about all I get are offers that don't pay
anything. I don't understand how anyone can expect me to work for free
since it costs a lot just to drive to work everyday but it seems that
the best I can hope for at this point is something exceeding minimum
wage. During the summer I worked as an independent contractor for a
computer repair company that claimed to pay $35/hr but it averaged out
to only about $3/hr and that didn't include expenses. This has led to
a lot of interesting stories to tell but no money.
