Hi All    -   Time goes so fast - I can not believe that I have been in business for 6 years!.  SO - this Nov. 1st - I will be celebrating my 6th year.  Will have lots of specials - with great prices.  I have preordered, large amounts of products that will be on sale.  I did this to be able to get a better purchase price - and pass on the savings to you.

Just to mention a few items:  whole pork loins - $2.99, whole fryers - $4.89 each(I think), T-bone steaks (straight cut) - meaning no cherry picking $7.99,  chuck roast - $4.19, the list go on...

I will be introducing a new product too.  I have made-up SLOW COOKER items - ready for the crock pot.  I have beef, pork, and chicken, - all seasoned and with veggies included.  Just pop the meal in your crock pot in the AM and come home in the PM - and serve a great meal.  Each meal will feed 4 people and cost $9.99 each.  A good value for you dollar!

I am now taking orders for FRESH TURKEYS & oysters.  Turkeys will arrive on Nov. 18th.  This year I will carry capons, geese, and the usual ducks & hens.  I ordered more turkeys this year than last - so I can bone them out for fresh breasts.  And, just a word on how turkeys will arrive.  Since T/giving is ONE day of the year - producers could not process and deliver them all at the same time.  So, the industry and the USDA set a standard on what a fresh turkey is.  All fresh turkeys will be delivered with ice crystal inside the cavity.  So in laymen's terms - the bird will be a little semi frozen to ensure quality when delivered.  When I bone the breast out - I can still move the leg quarters to cut the breast out.   With a frozen bird - I could not do that.  So you know.  Also, just like last year - birds will be sold in 4lb. increments.  8 to 12, 12 to 16, and so on.  I know - this is so hard to sell an exact weight.  So, you may order a 10lb. and get a 11lb. bird.   So you know.

Hope you all like my exterior remodel.  I think when the exterior is finished - I will have a stately looking building.  Plus - I have plans for the porch - if you get my drift?  I am looking for suggestions - got any?

Lastly - hams this year are a dollar more in cost per lb .  My feeling on this is - Smithfield company ( larges pork producer in the USA)  has sold to the Chinese!  So you know where the hams are going.  Plus, the pork industry had experienced the deaths of millions of piglets - called PEV.  So, pork is a little tight right now.

DO NOT FORGET -  this Nov. 1st (Sat) will be the largest sale that I have had to date!  Hope you all can attend and get some great products and great prices.

Thanks for shopping my little store.       Ron Lahody     765-216-7240
