Hi All, Did you know that I carry - fresh leg-of-pork? Lots of people call it fresh ham - but it is not ham.
This Fri. I will have fresh veal chops coming it. I ordered 2 loins but think only one is coming in. This will go fast - so call your order in. $15.99 lb.
Fresh turkeys will be in this Fri. too. 12 to 16 lb. average. I did not order a lot - call your order in.
This time of year rib roast and beef tenderloin are very popular. Here are a few more suggestions for those special dinners. Try baking a pork - prime rib. Or - a pork crown roast. Or - one of my "bigger is better" beef rump roast. Or - a sirloin steak roast. Or - a NY strip roast.
I have some really good specialty roasts too. Try a seasoned prime rib roast. Or - a stuffed flank roast. Or - a stuffed pork loin roast. Or - a stuffed turkey breast. Do not for get the stand-by roast - beef chuck roast.
Try thinking Lamb too. I have fresh, semi boneless legs, lots of chops, rack of lamb, and lots of frozen, ground, lamb and stew.
If you are tired of the cooking thing - buy one of my crock pot dinners. Beef, pork, and chicken. Have them for family of 4 or 2. They are ready seasoned - just put in your pot in the AM and take out in the PM. Set on low. No prep
This Sun. will be my holiday ad. Plus - I think steaks will be on sale. NY, sirloin, and T-bone. Will have lots of in store sale stuff too.
Hours: 10 to 6 daily - only on the 24th I will close at 4pm. And, Sun. 11 to 5.
I am running low on smoked hams. Call your order in to reserve one. My favorite ham is the bone in. It is cured with brown sugar and made in the USA. This is my 4th year selling this ham. I, also, carry the old fashioned country cured ham. This ham taste like the ham Cracker Barrel uses for its meals. I have a couple of customer that buy one ham each and serve both for their dinner.
Gift Certificates - are selling well too. I feel when gas prices go down - people have more spending money. Funny - why can't out gov't figure that out?
Lastly - - in a hurry and need a party tray - think of me. I made two trays this AM. One with meats and cheese - using Boars Head products and the other was a tray with salads - potato, pasta, ham, chicken, and lots of pickles.
Oh - one more thing - I sell Aunt Milles Hawaiian rolls. You should try these - they are really great. I served them at my BSU football team dinner. They went fast. These rolls will be on sale this Sunday. Was $3.76 - now $2.69.
I've said enough!
Thanks for shopping my little store. Ron Lahody
