Birds at La Habitat

Hello

We are fortunate to have a number of sparrows in and around La Habitat along with Pigeons that comes aplenty. There are other small birds too. If you are an early riser, you can listen to the chirping at the premises. We need to nurture these birds to permanently be at La Habitat and be a companion to our valued members.

Birds which visits La Habitat (without entry at the main gate) face dehydration during summer.

We can do some minor social work for them. We can put a small pot with water inside the balcony. Ensure water do not seep from the walls. 

Going a step further, we can  also help sparrows to build nests. Your kids can make small corrugated boxes for sparrows nest in your balcony. Specially designed sparrow nests are available at potters, if you opt them. 

But please note they dont need help in feeding. Birds are well equipped to find their food and hence do not throw grains or left over chapatis at the compound for birds.
