Dear All,
Today evening at 8:45, when I was returning from work, I came across a group of 3 young boys (probably 5th or 6th standard), who were playing near the ramp at the entrance of the Basement. These boys were playing around and trying to touch moving cars that were going into the basement (at least they did that to my car).
This is extremely dangerous, and these children can get badly hurt playing such games, and there would be only themselves to blame. Parents must take care that their kids do not play in the driveway when cars are passing by, or should keep a safe distance from moving vehicles.
Here, I would also like to say that children should also not be allowed to run around or play in the basement. The basement has huge columns, and any child suddenly appearing from behind any column in the way of any moving car (moving forward or reversing) may get badly hurt.
The child, who actually touched my car today evening, was playing near the ramp at the entrance of the basement and wearing a red half-sleeved t-shirt, and I request his parents to please make him understand the perils of any such dangerous acts.
Regards,
Nandita
