Dear Members,

Greetings of the Day!!

I would like to bring to your kind notice an incident of our domestic helper, which is a security concern and moreover of creating threat to other domestic helpers working in our premises.

We have decided to terminate services for one of our domestic helper Ms.Leela due to her irregularities and arrogant behavior towards my wife. I thought this to be a trivial matter has it happens in every house, as she came couple of times to our house for knowing the legitimate reason for terminations (as they are minimal wage earners they would feel the brunt of lost job), till such time too I was not poking into this affair. But it went grave when she barged into the wash room the other day to ask my wife how dare she can appoint another domestic helper, now this was a serious security concern, as she opened the safety door by herself and tried to enter the washroom forcefully.

I made a verbal compliant to our admin manager and the security/housekeeping contractor and they assured me the matter will be put to rest as there were some incidence in the past too. But now the situations have further worsen as she is threatening of dire consequences to all the other alternative domestic helper whom we appoint and hence now no new domestic helper is ready to take the job as it has been barred by Ms.Leela.

My major area of concern is that as she is working in other flats too, they may even face such situations in near future and by allowing such type of attitude we might help them to create a nexus or a union (one like in Mumbai "Matadi") which will take us in deep trouble someday.

I would kindly request our esteemed members and or office bearers if they can suggest/help me a way forward to overcome this issue.

Warm regards,

Dear Friend,

The best alternative and available  option is not to keep House maid at all.

We are not having any maid and are very happy. Of course  every husband has to help their wife in all house work whether wife is home maker or working .

When our people do all  house work in USA, why not in India ?

Regards
