INVITATION TO A VIRTUAL ONE-DAY WORKSHOP ON ILLICIT FINANCIAL FLOW, GAS FLARING AND NIGERIA’S TRANSITION TO CLEAN ENERGY

I write on behalf the Human and Environmental Development Agenda (HEDA Resource Centre), RE: Common and Corner house with the support of MacArthur Foundation to invite you to a one-day workshop which is themed: “Illicit Financial Flow and Gas Flaring as Albatross to Nigeria’s Climate Change Response: Building Momentum towards COP 26.”

Details of the workshop including other topics for discussion, synopsis, time and duration allotted are contained in the concept note and the order of event attached to this invitation.

The event with Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, Vice President of Nigeria as invited Keynote Speaker, Dr Oliver Stolpe, UNODC Country representative in Nigeria, as Chairperson, and other local and international resource persons is scheduled to hold as follows:
