My name is Saheed Kasali, and I am a recent graduate in Civil Engineering from Obafemi Awolowo University (September 2025). Alongside my academic background, I have been actively building my career in software development since 2023. Over the past three years, I have progressed from Python and web scraping into full-stack web development, leveraging JavaScript/TypeScript with expertise in Angular, React, Next.js, NestJS, Prisma, PostgreSQL, REST, and GraphQL APIs.

I am currently working remotely as the Lead Backend Engineer at Nibo (https://nibo.ng), a startup focused on helping manufacturers and retailers combat counterfeit products by ensuring transparent product distribution. In this role, I have been responsible for application security (authentication) and implementing advanced features beyond standard CRUD operations. One notable feature I developed is the geospatial distribution system using the Google Maps API. This enables users to view manufacturer products and, based on their location, identify the nearest stores stocking the product. They can then compare distances to different stores and decide where to purchase, providing transparency, accountability, and a seamless user experience.
