Is it woocommerce? I learnt there is already an interswitch payment
plugin for woocommerce. You may want to play around with that.

Hi Okemini,
It's pretty straightforward if your grasp of PHP and MySQL is good. Average even.
I just integrated one for a client last week.
The process is simple as well.
Just enter any GTBank and ask for the GTPay service staff. I think you'd pay N75,000 as a one-time setup fee. (Not sure of exact amount; client did that himself. If you want to accept international payments, you need a domicillary account) You'd fill some forms with CAC info, web developer info etc.
Within 2-3 working days, they would process your request and send you your merchant info plus details on how to integrate the service into your website. Comes with a bit of code to help you along. There's also a DIY form to guide you through. It should all be a breeze really.
After you are done with your side of the integration, you inform them and they carry out tests on the platform on your site. Next, they forward your details to interswitch, who will schedule a UAT. If the UAT is successful, they move your service from the pilot phase to the LIVE phase where you can accept real payments.
All in all, the whole process took about two weeks or less, even though your own work might just be done in a day. Lots of back and forth. It's very IMPORTANT that you get the direct line of any GTB staff that's working on your stuff. Interswitch can waste a lot of time and even GTB can stall too. Took a lot of persistent calls from my client to get things rolling fast.
Hope this helps.
Cheers

-Shylle
