Best way to migrate from Maven to SBT in intellij

Hi guys,

Have you ever managed to migrate your Maven projects to SBT?

If so, could you please share how you did it? 

I've been developing Scala Lagom with Maven but thinking of moving to SBT. 

Tried some solutions suggested in here but didn't quite help.

I am considering two options which I haven't yet tried:

A) Completely start a new SBT Lagom project and migrate the codes manually by copying and pasting

B) Delete *.pom files, and add build.sbt file - but in this case, I am bit concerned about the possibility of having my projects corrupted by mixing up the meta files used by different build systems. Like little *.xml files hidden inside the .intellij folder which i am not exactly sure which one to remove and which one to add manually to convert to SBT.
