Hello fellow aquarists
I would like to suggest we pool our buying power into a benefit for
the members. I would like everyone to write what staples they use for
their fish. If we buy bulk sizes and divide items at the meetings we
could save on many items. Paul and I have done this with plant
fertilizer and the group got a discus discount that was used by many
of us. We could contact a store and request a minimal mark up if we
give them our huge order. I would like to order Amquel, Omega-One
fish food, frozen blood worms, activated carbon, a large quantity of
Otocinclus (the scrubbing bubbles of algae eaters). If we bought
these items in bulk sizes we can distribute them at the meetings. Our
membership is growing and when we tried this before we were too small
to achieve the desired benefit. So please reply with items you would
like.

just a heads i have access to a large list of plants if anyone wants
to do a group buy. i can also get many fish just there is a set number
per bag. a big order of food from kensfish.com would be nice though
lol.... frozen blood worms would also be cool. i already buy prime by
the liter so you wont get any help from me there. lol

Excellent idea! Even just for frozen food shipping, or live fish shipping cost sharing!! Let's do it!
