Subject: Generosity Feeds Volunteer Event - April 30th

 

Generosity Feeds is a local charity that mobilizes hundreds of people to package and feed children in our community who go hungry outside school hours.  Their experienced team work to mobilize people in our school, business, church, or club to package 10,000 or more meals in just a couple hours.

 

Their upcoming event on April 30th provides teams the opportunity to build relationships and inspire long-term generosity in the community. Through this event, the community works to decrease the debilitating effects of food insecurity on children in the area by packaging and providing nutritious and delicious meals for those children in need.  Their vision is to feed hungry children in every county throughout America.

 

This is a great opportunity for Learning Tree employees and families to volunteer for an charity that has a direct impact in our community.   We’d like to get a group from Learning Tree to volunteer for the event on April 30th.  Employees, family members and friends are invited.  It’s a great activity for families because children can also volunteer to help.

Saturday, April 30, 2016 • 9:00 am

Lanier Middle School: 3801 Jermantown Rd, Fairfax, VA 22030

This is a family event. Children as young as 3 can participate!

This event will fill up quickly. Register today.
