Dear all,
As you know, the Lagos State Government (LASG) has called for a Y2024 Budget Consultative Forum with multiple stakeholders.
As with our annual tradition, Lagos Civil Society Participation for Development formerly known as Lagos State Civil Society Partnership (LACSOP) is poised to engage with this budget process and influence development in the State. As you already know, some of our proposals have been adopted by LASG in the interest of development in the State
LACSOP is pulling together key organisations from different sectors to develop a CSO Position Paper on the Lagos State Budget Direction. This event will be a hybrid event - in-person and virtual. Members who indicate interest via WhatsApp interactions will be invited to the in-person event. However, to accommodate all LACSOP members and all stakeholders to the LASG budget process, the online platform has been set up.
The meeting is slated to take place on Tuesday, 12 September 2023 by 10am. Please note that this will be a working meeting and LACSOP will send ahead to registered organizations, the necessary documentation required for this meeting.
