Debian mirror in Viroqua

First, I am not sure if I will make tonight or not. I won't know until
my beautiful wife gets home.
On another note... Many of you know that we have a severe shortage of
disk space at WDRT ;) I would like to announce the availability of a
debian mirror in Viroqua. It is accessible on the lan and wireless at
the WDRT studios. We are not offering it on the internet due to our
current bandwidth levels. It makes for very speedy installs, 15-20min,
and almost instant updates. We are currently mirroring the entire
binary portions of:
- i386 main/non-free/contrib
- amd64 main/non-free/contrib
- debian multimedia - i386 & amd64
- volatile - coming soon
All of the above update nightly.
We are also planning to start a gentoo mirror including the
pro-audio, and possibly other, overlays as well. I will post when
that becomes available.
Feel free to stop in at the studios to use the mirrors. Drop a note to
me first and I can let you know how to access them, as the final FTP
server is not up yet. Once it is I will post a how-to.
