Tried this on my home network... and it worked immediately.

That confirms that the wireless network at the People's Food Co-op was blocking peer-to-peer traffic. I'll make some changes to the dat website that I shared and keep it open and seeded on a few different computers so that you can see the demonstration.

I may eventually retire it, as I learn more and publish different dat websites.
