Samsung has come a long way from its TouchWiz days. Back then, the Android software interface on its older smartphones came with tons of bloatware, an atrocious design, and obfuscated settings. The company turned things around with One UI, the new and improved interface available on its phones since 2018. It's attractive, more customizable, and concise.

I have an app (Sectograph from play store) that recently stopped sending notifications. If I go to settings --> Notifications --> App notifications, and I look for this app with the filter set to all applications, I don't find it. It seems that that's why I'm unable to receive notifications from this app. I have looked all configurations and permissions but all seems correct. I've seen other posts related but none with a solution. Any ideas? I'm not sure but I think I stopped receiving notifications sins the last system update.
Hello everyone, thanks for the help! I have solved the problem. It had nothing to do with Samsung configuration, it was a problem with the app itself. I contacted with customer support of the application too and they told me that a new release was launch last week that solved this issue. The app was not asking for the correct permissions like the one to send notifications. The update solved this issue and now appears correctly in notification settings like the rest of the apps. Thanks again!
I've been using the Samsung Email app for a few months without any problems. However, today, I couldn't access my university email without activating some new security settings. This involves allowing the app to delete all data on my phone, lock the screen, set password rules, disable internet, encrypt my data, etc. These are all very intrusive things, and since it's my personal phone I can't accept this.
Once they are on go back to settings and you will see a new setting Developer Options and in that you turn on and off ADB debugging. As well as several other options that you probably just want to keep as default settings unless you are using Android Studio.
Hello, I am doing the same thing. I followed along and got the developer settings and everything set. Now I am wondering if I need to use Galaxy Watch Studio or Watch Face Studio and how to connect my watch in order to test the face designs.
I purchased 3 months ago a Samsung 7 SERIES 43 Model: ue43ru7092uxxh TV. Few days ago i tried to change my settings but im unable to do it. When i press the Settings button i can go up and down on the left side (marked with green arrows) but when i got to the right side (Marked with red arrows) im unable to move up and down and i cant change any settings. I have this problem in the settings only.
Right, I see. Is this happening on every right menu setting or only on the "right" picture settings? If it's happening on every settings then please proceed with a master reset of the TV: Menu > Settings > Support > Self Diagnosis > Reset.
Here are some images i made it. In picture settings the only thing i can change is Picture mode because i can't go up or down to sellect, if i press enter to change picture mode i won't be able to move up or down to change the dynamic mode.
I recently purchased this laptop and whilst setting it up, set it to charge to 85% on the batter life extender toggle/settings. It has since started charging to 100% and I cannot not access the battery life extender settings anywhere, they have disappeared. I have reasearched it and tried everything but suspect is windows related (update).
I found a fix. Go to quick settings in your tray (next to wifi icon bottom right). Click into quick settings / launch samsung settings. Then click on Battery and Performance, you will see slide bar for Protect Battery. Sorted.
Navigate to one of the following Device settings fields as needed. Click Configure. Once the updates have been completed Click OK. Updated device settings are saved and deployed based on the deployment schedule.

Nearby Device scanning allows users to interact with other Android devices that are present nearby. It can be a handy feature, but not everyone uses it, and disabling this from settings will help you save a ton of battery juice.
I have a Samsung Galaxy A12. It had installed the SmartThings app since some months ago. A few weeks ago I updated the system (accepted update notification) and it was fine. When I received the phone it had Android 11, now the software version shows Android 13 (due the system upgrade?). Yesterday I reset the phone to factory settings to have a clean environment but when installing the apps it says that SmartThings is not compatible with my phone :-/ It does not appear on the search results in playstore and if I open the direct web link to SmartThings in playstore it says is not compatible.
If you encounter problems with your data connection, or other wireless connections, you can reset the network settings back to default. All of the network settings on the phone will be reset, including those for Wi-Fi, mobile data and Bluetooth.

Depending what notifications you want, you can change settings for certain apps or for your whole phone. Notifications show when you swipe down from the top of your screen. Some notifications can also show on your lock screen and home screen.
You can control many app notifications from a settings menu in the app. For example, an app could have a setting to choose the sound that app's notifications make. To make these changes, open the app and search for the settings menu.
To activate selfie gestures on your Galaxy, open the Camera app then tap the settings cog in the top-left corner. Scroll to the bottom and tap "Shooting methods." Next, tap the toggles next to "Voice commands" and "Show palm."
