Coming up this week I will be presenting my new work Once More, Again, One downtown at Five Thirty Three. I am very excited about the piece, the brilliant performers and my collaboration with lighting designer Chris Kuhl. I very much look forward to sharing it with you. We'll run from Thursday, the 12th through Sunday the 15th. All shows at 8:30.

Once More, Again, One is a mix tape. It draws from traditions of dance, theater, ritual, and live and video art to explore presence, intimacy, and the seeds of narrative and meaning making. It is also an examination of repetition and duration, an experiment in the cultivation and sharing of joy, an homage to pop songs of the past and present (which never cease to elicit an emotional response and inspire dancing), and an offering.
