MyDropBox icon is greyed out. I have unistalled and reinstalled with no luck. When I click on the greyed out icon, a box opens and on the bottom left is a circle that states "connecting..." but it never does. Please help, it's greatly appreciated.

I too have just strted having this issue. I'm running El Capitan 10.11.6. I can access Dropbos from a browser and from borwser the acocunt tells me my computer is linked but the app says the computer is not linked ot an account. I have just reinsalled the desktop app justto make sure that was not the problem but no goodcame of it. My Ipad is still linked. the deskto[ with the problem is where I keep my dropbos home folder so . gulp!
I am having the same problem. The icon has been greyed out since logging on to a different wifi router (a 4G mobile wifi router) today, although it was working yesterday on fibreoptic broadband.
I have followed all the steps you advised in your previous answer, and nothing has worked.
I have also contacted my wifi provider, who have conducted diagnostics on my signal. My signal seems to be strong, and everything else is working OK apart from Dropbox.
Any help you can offer will be gratefully received!

I need to remove sophos from an end user machine and the tamper protection is greyed out. I am no longer using sophos and have decommissioned our Sophos server. Is there anyway to get the application removed from the machine. I am using version 10.7 and I am logged into the machine as a domain admin.
Thanks Calvin, but everything on the Start menu and Compile and Programming is greyed out irrespective of the device selected (I am attempting to start with a Max 2). There is something not right with the way licensing is checked in Lite (there are lots of license files (ending .lic) in the Licenses folders but this makes no difference). No device can be compiled / programmed. There may be an issue with how the Lite download installs. See attached.
Hello sstrell, I uninstalled and reinstalled Lite and that seemed to solve the issue (I suspect originally not seeing the license files) though I wasn't able to complete my project (a 64 to 6 encoder using cascaded 74348's) because schematic doesn't allow outputs to be 'joined together' (even though outputs are tristate in the SN74348).. The code (Verliog / VHDL) for a 64 to 6 encoder is way beyond me (I am a newbie with CPLD's).
Despite my best efforts I had to abandon my project, attempts to create a 64 to 6 encoder (based on some 8to3 Encode code found in various forums) would have required a CPLD with 129 GPIO 'pins' (despite there being only 70 physical pins used) so any off-the-shelf dev board would not have been suitable and certainly not affordable. In this case (and I suspect for many other projects) it is far easier, faster and cheaper to use discreet logic. That'll teach me not to try something 'new'.

I had the exact same issue - noticed that the Log Activity button gets greyed out when I maximize the Log (in my case, a meeting log). It gets orange again (and therefore active) when I minimize and type anything (even a space) after minimizing.
I just experienced this today. I created a new "Log email" activity, and I pasted content. I could not see the button, so I "maximized" it. The button was grey. I closed and tried to create a new one. The window opened with the button grey but the contents I had pasted in there. Like it thought it was empty but it was not. I simply typed an additional space, and the button was available. I erased the space, it was still active, and that resolved the issue.
So sometimes the control is confused and I believe it is deactivating the button thinking there is no content yet, even when, as in this case, there was content. FYI, I was confused as to why, when I clicked the X to close this "Log Email" it went away, but when I clicked "Log Email" again to try it again, the contents I had pasted earlier were still prefilled, but the button was still grey. Again, this is when I added a single space and deleted it again, and then I was able to save it.
I eradicated the confusion HubSpot seemed to have by adding another single character in the content window (there were already thousands of characters) and then the Log Activity Button activated itself.
I checked with Hubspot Technical Support and it seems like it was a permissions issue.
I was Super Admin permissions. But, I noticed that I was missing 'Service' permissions compared to my peers who didn't have an issue and had Service, Contacts, Reports, and Sales Professional permissions.
In the 'Contacts' section I am trying to Log Email. The date and time are set and I've published content. The 'Log activity' button is still grayed out. I've been using this feature just fine. I logged out and in. Perhaps I need to restart the computer. I'll try that meanwhile while I wait for a response.
Can you please share screenshots of where you are getting stuck, and confirm that the behavior is occurring across multiple browsers, through an incognito window, and after clearing your cache and cookies?
As I stated in the initial query, I have already selected the 'partial sum' indicators in the presentation tab. I just wondered if the totals mode being greyed out contributed to the lack of totals showing on the chart. I guess not.

Its funny but my issue is that Dual monitors is enabled and greyed-out and impossible to disable.
why is my zoom app full of all these greyed-out options, as if there is some higher administrator on my personal phone. its very bad UX
I have the same issue with "Use dual monitors" greyed out. The link/article you attached is not useful--I meet all of the requirements for use of a dual monitor on my Mac. Is this something new and there has been a downgrade of features for the "Basic Zoom" user?
Hi! I'm using the latest Enscape and Revit version and have set some views that I'd like to edit in Enscape. The problem is the Navigation mode and the projection mode are greyed out. The verticals in the rendering are slanted which tells me I'm in 3 point perspective which I don't want. I think I would be able to change this if the projection mode wasn't greyed out. Thanks for your help!
Right away, can you please check if "View Synchronization" (click the link for more details) is not enabled via the Enscape menu in Revit? If it is, then the projection modes will indeed be unavailable - Let me know if that doesn't do the trick!
Not sure why that is greyed out, but FYI that you can set up incremental refresh to speed up refresh for your published dataset. While you are developing, a good tip is to do Keep Top Rows to limit it to 1-3 files temporarily. Once done, just remove that step to load all files.
You probbly have checked "Always allow data previews to download in the backround" in Options / Global / Data Load
I recommend Allow data preview to download in the background according to each file settings
This has happened on three separate machine, two different users at various times. It has seemed to be sporadic until now. This particular app that I am working on now, the editor seems to miss edits/the button is greyed out, two out of three times.
I encountered this problem too, I think the reason for this is related to the internet connection.
I think somehow the connection between the Editor and the server was lost while we were working. For testing, open the editor, make changes, and disconnect from the internet.
