Just incase you are interested. There is a Green Jobs Conference at the end of this week. The registration is $195 ( seems to be no student discounts) but by volunteering for 6 hours you can get in free for all three days. Please see below for details.

Subject: Good Jobs Green Jobs Western Conference This Week - Volunteers Needed/Registration Fees will Be Waived

Dear Sustainability Colleagues:

The Good Jobs Green Jobs Western Conference is being held this week in Los Angeles and they are looking for volunteers.

Below, are the times/tasks they need to fill (particularly the Thursday morning shifts). For any individual who works at least six hours, they will waive their registration fee; this means that outside the times they are scheduled to work, they are free to attend the workshops, plenaries and events of the conference. If you want to know a bit more about the Conference and the agenda, information is available on the conference website at www.greenjobsconference.org.
