Good Afternoon,
Please join us in congratulating Jesse Garcia, a LACC Computer Science major. He was selected to participate in UCLA‘s
Center of Excellence in Engineering & Diversity (CEED) ROBOTICS WORKSHOP & Competition in the UCLA School of Engineering.
This program is funded by a NSF grant.
Mr. Garcia has submitted a transfer application along with 225 other LACC students to the University of California for fall 2012 . He was
one of a limited number of applicants from a nationwide community college applicant pool to be selected. We salute Mr. Garcia for his
hard work and persistence in “hanging in there” one step at a time towards his academic and eventually professional goals. All expenses
incurred by CEED.
