Subject: NSF-funded Research Experience for Undergraduates

Dear Colleagues

The Department of Electrical Engineering at the University of Arkansas will host an NSF-funded Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) program during summer 2012 (5/28/2012 - 8/3/2012). Each participant will receive a $5,000 stipend, plus free room, meals, and travel expenses. The research topics are on Wireless Sensor Networks. Priority will be given to students from minority institutions. More information can be found at REU website is http://comp.uark.edu/~smithsco/REU/index.html

The applications will be reviewed as received, and application will be closed when all the positions are filled. Potential candidates are encouraged to apply as soon as possible.

Could you please distribute the information and the attached flyer to your students? Thanks for your time!

Best Regards,
