Hi,

I was trying to run a sample app on android but it hangs the app is

int main(){
return 0 ;
}

I generate a test.out and do
./test.out

but the prompt doesnt come out. I am using the prebuit binaries
available on embinux And for building the app I am usin android
toolcahin available locally to me.

Is there some different procedure to build the app.?

Hi,

Use the static option while cross compiling the binary

$ arm-none-linux-gnueabi -o test.out <file name> --static

I guess what you need is the Android.mk file. which will tell how to compile your test file and what should be the name of output executable. I have a tutorial on that. Just have a look.
