For the purpose of the dissolution or annulment of a marriage, a
couple in Connecticut should possess certain qualities, to have the
legal rights to appear in front of a court judge. Either of the two
should have been a registered resident of CT for at least 12 months,
prior to the filing of the divorce. Also, both of them should have
been residents or returned as permanent residents at the time of
marriage. Only these conditions give a couple a rightful legal grounds
to apply for an uncontested divorce in ct.
