Trying to create a Google Doc using Avery US Letter - 6468 as a template. That seems to work fine. When I try to tell it what spreadsheet I want, however, it tells me I have to sign in to Google before it can search but attempting to do so gives a popup screen that shows up then disappears and, ultimately, I receive the following error message:

400. That’s an error.

The server cannot process the request because it is malformed. It should not be retried. That’s all we know.

Hello,
Thank you for reporting this issue and sorry to hear you are encountering this problem.

This might be a temporary error with Google having a hard time authenticating your account. Can you try refreshing your browser and tell us how it goes?

Warm regards,
Lucy - Labelmaker

I too am trying to use Labelmaker to create mailing labels and get this error message: 400. That’s an error.

The server cannot process the request because it is malformed. It should not be retried. That’s all we know.

I have tried restarting my computer and refreshing the google document page containing the label format. But nothing changes and I get the same error message! I don't understand the purpose for needing to sign-in AGAIN into my google account. I would ALREADY be in my google account when trying to create the mailing labels!

Regards,

Glen

Hi Glen,

Thanks for reaching out to us. I'm sorry to hear you're facing this issue.

Your issue might be due to using multiple Google accounts under the same Chrome browser. Google can't handle when multiple accounts are logged in, and Chrome extensions, such as Labelmaker, don't work well.

SOLUTION

Since you are using multiple Google accounts I recommend creating a new profile in Google Chrome with the account you are using Labelmaker with. This will make sure it'll always work with the right account. It takes only 1 minute to set up.

To create a new profile, here's a guide: https://mailmeteor.com/blog/how-to-create-google-chrome-profile

Let me know if it works,
Lucy
