It says you can add images to your labels but when I design my first label with an image, and then "Create Labels", it only copies the text into the rest of the labels. It does not add the image.

Hi,

I have this same issue, but the step-by-step guide doesn't address the issue. This is the doc I'm using to create my labels: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1VNsU-Tgm-XydNFeqN2SX875wr6JFQxCfcAnKp7KAnME/edit

Thanks,

Mallory

Hi Mallory,
This might be due to your image size and format. Could you try resizing your image online and see if it works better with a smaller picture or a different file format (jpg instead of png)?

I am having the same issue.  I am also getting the exclamation point in the triangle instead of the picture when I open the document.  Sometimes I get a blank page.  I have tried using different file formats and have sized my picture/image to fit within the label.  Still no success.  I am very frustrated with this and hope that someone can give me instructions to resolve this.
Thank you,
Deb Klapperich

Hi there,

Thank you for your message,

Images in Google Docs need to be inserted inside a table to be displayed correctly. You will need to insert a table inside the rectangular one you already have (see screenshot attached).

Here is the step-by-step guide to add images in your labels. Don't forget to resize the image to not modify the cell's height and width.

Let me know how it goes. If you don't manage to create your labels, please share the document with me and I'll have a look ;-)
All the best,
Lucy
