How to print labels on a Mac
Here's a quick tutorial on how to print labels on a Mac.
2. When ready, click on the print icon or select "File" > "Print"
- G Suite will generally download a PDF version of your Google Doc
- If that's the case, open the PDF locally, using Aperçu or Adobe Acrobat Reader.
- If that's not the case, you can force downloading a PDF by selecting "File" > "Download" > "PDF" from the Google Doc interface.
3. Make sure that the PDF is opened and click on "File" > "Print".
You should see something similar to the screenshot below (it's the print dialogue of your Mac):

4. Click on "Show details" to have more printing options:

5. Make sure that the two following options are selected:
a. In the "Paper Size" option, make sure that the correct value is selected.
- It might be "US Letter", "A4" or something else depending on the template size.
- If you don't know what's your paper size, have a look to the packaging of your labels.
b. Make sure that the scale is set to 100%.
- To select the scale, select "Preview", then click on "Scale:" and enter the value "100%" in the box.
- You generally need to manually enter "100%" as macOS selects something else by default.
6. Start printing by clicking on "Print"
You don't need to manipulate the margins of your document. Templates have already been adjusted and checked with a scale set to 100%.
