This is the month of Victory. We achieved which we fought for. That is our Sonar Bangladesh. Banglar Bijoy Bohor Motor cade rally  will be held on December 18, 2016 and you all are invited with your family & Friends. Please do come with your motor car, SUV, Bike whatever you can bring. Those who does not have car, we have buses for them.

With that interesting program at Shatto Recreation hall we are also going to held BALA charity event in a very small way. To help Los Angeles County Sheriff Department charity operation, we BALA will be collecting Warmth Clothes including blanket to Bijoy Bohor program. This is to help LASD, Operation Warmth 2016. Please do come with your old warmth clothes which you are trying to get rid off or which taking extra space in  your Closet. Please help the " Operation Warmth " Project by donating your clothing items to BALA charity booth at the Bijoy Bohor Program.

We will be also collecting new or old Toys for the kids which your kids are no more enjoying. You can also buy a small toy and donate to our Toys Charity at BALA Charity booth at Bijoy Bohor Program. We will sent all these toys to unprivileged children of USA by donating LA County Toys Charity program which is sponsored by Board of Supervisors of  LA County.

We are also trying to organize a blood donation camp at Bijoy Bohor program sponsored by Children Hospital of Los Angeles and Hope Foundation of LA. Please do come and visit the Blood donation booth at Bijoy Bohor Program.

লস এঞ্জেলেসে টানা সপ্তম বারের মত বাংলার বিজয় বহর আয়োজিত হতে যাচ্ছে।
দীর্ঘ নয়মাস এক রক্তক্ষয়ী সংগ্রামের মধ্যদিয়ে ত্রিশ লক্ষ জীবন ও দু'লক্ষ মা বোনের ইজ্জতের বিনিময়ে ১৯৭১ সালের ১৬ ডিসেম্বর অর্জিত হয়েছিল এই  গর্বিত বিজয়। আমাদের এই গর্বের দিনটি বাংলাদেশ থেকে হাজার মাইল দুরের এই জনপদে বিশ্বব্যাপী ছড়িয়ে থাকা অজস্র বাংলাদেশিদের মত আমরাও অত্যন্ত উৎসব মুখর পরিবেশে উদযাপন করে থাকি।

এবছর ২০১৬ সালে লস এঞ্জেলেস প্রবাসী বাংলাদেশি কম্যুনিটি সদস্যরা দলমত নির্বিশেষে ঐক্যবদ্ধভাবে অত্যন্ত জাঁকজমকের সাথে উদযাপন করতে যাচ্ছে দিনটি।
এবারের বিজয় দিবস কর্মদিবস হওয়ায় সাপ্তাহিক ছুটিরদিন ১৮ ডিসেম্বর রবিবার দুপুর ১২ টা থেকে রাত ১১ টা পর্যন্ত এক টানা চলবে নানা আয়োজন। এর মধ্যে থাকবে রং বেরং এর সাজে সজ্জিত হয়ে মটর শোভা যাত্রা, প্রথিতযশা সঙ্গীত শিল্পীদের উপস্থাপনায় মনোজ্ঞ সাংস্কৃতিক অনুষ্ঠান। সেই সাথে থাকছে দেশীয় ঐতিহ্যের পিঠা পুলি, খাবার, মহিলাদের শাড়ি ও অলংকারাদির মেলা।

সকলে স্ববান্ধব ও স্বপরিবারে আমন্ত্রিত। অনুষ্ঠান উপভোগের জন্য কোনও প্রবেশ মূল্য লাগবে না, সকলের জন্য উম্মুক্ত ও ফ্রি।
