Since 2015, the European Accounting Association has organised its job market for accounting academics, the EAA Talent Workshop. The event has been hosted by IE University -Madrid, Spain. The purpose of the Workshop is to provide candidates and recruiters with an efficient forum to schedule campus visits and job offers. As a consequence of the current COVID-19 crisis, the 6th edition of the event moves to a remote format. These are some key elements of the online, 2020 EAA Talent Workshop: IE University will host the event. Candidates would be asked to submit their CV, research statement and job market paper by September 30th, 2020. Candidates would be notified about acceptance/rejection to the EAA Talent Workshop by October 7th, 2020. Recruiters would get access to candidates’ files by October 13th, 2020. Accepted candidates would be asked to submit a videotaped presentation of their job market paper by October 19th, 2020. These videos will be made available to recruiters in due course. The EAA Talent Workshop will be formally held during November 3-6, 2020. On November 3rd and considering the different time zones of candidates and recruiters, a formal opening ceremony will be scheduled. During the rest of the week, with support of the IE University technical staff, candidates and recruiters will schedule their interviews. Following the extant tradition, there will be no registration fee for candidates. Registration fee for universities is 200 euros for an unlimited number of recruiters.
