Once Again information that would be difficult, if not impossible to find in
the corporate media - telling lies about Russia and Ukraine - in order to
justify the U.S. arming the pro-NATO Ukrainian government, has been exposed
by those interested in preventing escalation to a war in Ukraine against the
people of Ukraine. We hope you will send this video to your contacts and
will add to your knowledge of U.S.-Ukraine-Russia relations.

Subject: What is happening in Ukraine and in the US?

Hi,

This week a bill was proposed in the US Senate, "Bill to Arm Ukraine
with Lethal Military Aid S.452". Its sponsor US Senator Jim Inhof
provided to a Washington DC conservative newspaper photos to bolster
the case that Russians troops are fighting in Ukraine. But some of the
the photos were 6 years old and were not from Ukraine.

Here is the story as reported on RT, a Russian English language news
channel:

Wednesday, February 11, 2015 Kiev MPs try to fool US senator with
"proof: of Russian tanks in Ukraine PHOTOS

The original story reported that the photos might help the US make the
case to send weapons to Ukraine. Here is that story introduced with an
acknowledgment that some photos were from elsewhere than Ukraine:

Senator Inhof said he received the fake photos from Semen Semenchenko.
That is the nom de guerre of Kostyantyn Ihorovych Hryshyn, a Ukrainian
citizen who founded the Donbas Battalion, an autonomous volunteer
battalion of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, based in
Donetsk. He was elected to the Verkhovna Rada in 2014.

There are many responses by netizens reporting on the fake photos
which Senator Inhof used to justify his "Bill to Arm Ukraine with
Lethal Military Aid S.452", For example:

kraine.html

I think the fact that the photos were quickly refuted is a credit to
the internet and the netizens and is a hopeful sign it is getting
more difficult to go to war based on a false narrative justified by
fabricated evidence.

Take care.

Jay
