Dear Comrades , friends, human rights and freedom advocates around the world,

We urge you to send the following letter to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia embassy at the country of your residence. Please send the letter by fax or email during the following days: Tuesday the 5th, Wednesday the 6th or Thursday the 7th of March 2013.

We are seriously concerned about Khaled’s Al-Natour (26 years old), a Jordanian citizen, fate as we have not received any information about him since his detention in Saudi Arabia  two months ago; we are counting on your support to push this human rights issue to the international level.

Attached are the needed contact information for the KSA embassies in many countries around the world, and also the unified message we would like you to send to the Saudi authorities available in several languages.

Dear representatives of the government of Saudi Arabia,

On the 6th of January 2013 Khaled Al-Natour (26 years old), a Jordanian citizen, traveled from Amman to Saudi Arabia on a one-month work visit. Khaled was issued a visiting visa to enter Saudi Arabia by the Saudi embassy in Jordan.

As Khaled and his four colleagues entered King Khaled International Airport, the Saudi authorities detained Khaled while allowing his colleagues to freely enter the kingdom. Ever since his detainment both the Jordanian authorities and Khaled’s family have not received any information on the reasons that led to Khaled’s detainment or the location and circumstances of his detention, and/ or the nature of the charges he is facing (if any).

Based on the above,  Amnesty International issued a ‘call’ to all human rights defenders and activists around the world to exert pressure on the Saudi Government. I................................citizen of.......................ask you the representatives of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to respect and adhere to international laws and regulations by releasing Khaled Natour immediately.

Sincerely
